Full-Time Dental Assistant

Experience Required: Three Years

Passes Dental Care is seeking a talented and engaging leader to join our modern, fully digital, patient-oriented dental office as a full-time Dental Assistant for long-term employment.

Qualifications for Dental Assistant Candidates

• Experience with four-handed dentistry
• Ability to take digital X-rays
• Knowledge of dental charting
• Capability to create treatment plans
• Familiarity with Invisalign (Experience with iTero is a plus)
• Computer savvy (Experience with SoftDent is a plus)
• Proficient in pouring models and preparing treatment rooms
• Ability to sterilize and restock instruments

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting salary is $20 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth. Additional benefits include health insurance, sick/vacation days, 401(k), and a fantastic summer party on the North Fork.
Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Registered Dental Hygienist

Experience Required: Two Years

Passes Dental Care is looking for a dynamic and engaging leader with an outgoing personality to join our fully digital, patient-oriented dental office as a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist for long-term employment.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused hygienist who is highly motivated to elevate their career by focusing on patients' overall health and the quality of care they receive. At Passes Dental Care, we invest in our team and your future. You must be proficient in periodontal therapy, sealants, fluoride application, impressions, X-rays, Zoom whitening, patient management, and administering local anesthesia and analgesia. Computer literacy is essential. Passion for your profession and teamwork are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dental health education regarding tooth care and diet
• Treat and prevent gingivitis and periodontitis
• Maintain sanitary and sterile conditions at all times
• Clean and sterilize all equipment and work surfaces to the required standards
• Update and maintain patient dental records as necessary
• Ensure patient comfort through all reasonable methods
• Identify and report dental conditions to our doctors

Requirements

• Current NY State Dental Hygiene License
• Current NY State License to administer nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia
• Ability to work office hours

Compensation Range:  $43.00 - $48.00 per hour

Ability to Work Office Hours

Every other Monday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Tuesday and Wednesday: 10:00 AM-7:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
One Saturday a month: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
One Sunday a month: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
July-Labor Day: Monday-Friday off all weekends and Fridays 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
